MENDING 42*42 cm
It was my grandmother who taught me the verb ‘to mend’. She used it often and chose it instead of ‘to fix’. Mending implies treasuring what exists, while allowing for another breath.
A composition of several treasured mini paintings & beautiful off-cuts from larger paintings, done in acrylic, sand, ink and cotton, varnish finish.
